The quality management systems at Trimat
are accredited to BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and support the manufacture of
a range of friction materials supplied for use on critical
applications.
Established upon the principles of Lean manufacturing and the 5S
standard, Trimat is recognised for operating a well organised, clean
and productive facility, synonymous with high quality products and
services. Fundamental to our quality program is employee
development throughout the business.
The creation of a quality culture has helped develop an impressive
O.E.M client base, which includes many of the worlds leading
engineering groups such as Rolls Royce, Otis Elevators, Siemens,
Dyson and Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems.
Products are manufactured under the guidance of integrated
production control plans providing comprehensive traceability and
supported where necessary by:

The introduction and validation of new projects is controlled within
our product realisation procedure and often encompasses a PPAP
(production part approval process).
